Our Theory of Change

Social profit organizations often benefit from bringing in outside expertise to fill in the gaps of leadership/skills necessary to build the key elements of the organization to promote growth.

A single consultant is often an expert in a certain area/service, but is not effective in filling all of the gaps within the organization.  Social profit organizations may utilize several consultants to fill all of the gaps, though lack of coordination and vision often limits success.  As experts with significant expertise in social profit operations, resource development, communication, and management, we can effectively fill the gaps of leadership/skills through a coordinated team approach.  We can evaluate the key elements of an organization, diagnose problems and provide targeted assistance that will help social profits meet their mission.

Our Logic Model

Highly successful non-profits have these key elements:

  • Clear vision and mission
  • Strong and committed Boards
  • Dedicated and visionary leadership
  • Capable staff who feel valued and empowered
  • A strong strategic plan
  • Honest self-evaluation tools to show success
  • Sufficient financial resources
  • Connection with a movement/purpose greater than the organization’s existence

When any of the key elements are missing, weak or non-functional, the non-profit will have difficulty achieving its mission and realizing its impact in the community.
